Burner Management System, or just BMS, is a system that controls the burning and flame of your burner, whether from the rotary kiln, calciner, hot gas generator burner or boiler, or even the pilot burner for ignition.

What is your main application?
With the BMS it is possible to manage the burner efficiently and especially safely, with any fuel used.
Dynamis carries out a dedicated and exclusive project for your application, as each kiln has its own process peculiarities such as temperatures, fuels, gas and particulate levels that require unique combustion characteristics and its monitoring. In this way, Dynamis programs a diagnostic logic and detection of possible failures or errors to meet each customer’s need, in which the operator will be notified exactly where, in the sequence of diagnostic tests, the occurrence will be with precise information, whether on a local panel or in your control room.
In this customization process, Dynamis informs its customers the logic in order to openly treat the programming, and no longer as a black box in which many of the cases the customers do not know exactly where the fault has occurred. As the logic provider, Dynamis does not yet allow the customer to make modifications in the BMS programming which maintains the integrity of the system, but Dynamis will remain present and close to the customer to discuss any necessary changes that the process requires.
Dynamis’ BMS Safety PLC has its own system that is interconnected to the plant, with all burner control components, be it fuel valve train, pilot igniters and all monitoring sensors such as flame sensors. It is possible to control the flow of fuels, for flame control, thermal load, temperature control and more, featuring sensors and actuators to open or close shut-off valves, flame monitors, pressure switches and temperature switch for by-pass high temperature (security system).
The use of Dynamis D-BMS has a wide range of applications, from burners for rotary kilns, from calciners to burners for hot gas generators or for boilers with wide flexibility and always focused on safety standards and protocols.
PLC
The PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) of the Dynamis BMS Safety PLC has inputs and outputs for valve stands, pressure transmitters and all instrumentation for Dynamis burner projects, whether for rotary kilns or calciners, as well as a solution for the pilot burners. Attending any specification and burner power and Dynamis design follows the standards applicable to the customer’s plant.
This PLC will communicate with the plant via the network through your plant’s standard protocol, such as Ethernet/IP, between the field signals and the BMS. The PLC programming logic is made by Dynamis, integrating the HMI, to fit within the project operation parameters.
HMI and Electric Panel
The Dynamis HMI, or Human-Machine Interface, is the way in which the operator can directly control, in the field, through its touch screen, process information related to the burners. It is intuitive and easy to use software. Dynamis’ BMS, in addition to local operation, also allows remote operation through the plant’s control room supervisory system.

In cases where the plant does not have a PLC for process control, the own Dynamis’ BMS Safety PLC can be programmed to control variables such as temperature, fuel flow, etc, generating record data for all variables.
